March 2016

Hi and Welcome to your March Signal

The first thing that I have to say is Thank you for giving me the Honor and Privilege of being your Commodore for 2016. Your new Board and I will continue working to keep the club moving forward and on a positive note.

We are two thirds of the way through first ever club closing, and we are all looking forward to the re-opening on April 1st; with the first of the year pot - luck Dinner. Don’t forget that we will be entertained by Alex on the accordion for the evening. And as I mentioned last month the accordion is associated with Italy so Shirl an I will do a ceaser salad and a few Italian sausages on the BBQ ( snow permitting ) Your club will up and running for this event and Ursula will be behind the bar ( most of the time ).

From here on in we are open on our regular hours.

Also don't forget the "All you can eat " pancake sausage and eggs brunch ( includes mimosa's )
This fun brunch starts at 11 am an goes till 2 pm
The date for this is Sun April 10th .
The cost for this is $10.00 PP an kids $ 2.00

Trivia question:
What country drinks the most beer?

  • Germany
  • United States
  • Australia
  • China

Answer further on in the signal

We have all heard of “Lego” bricks but did you know that Six eight-stud bricks can be put together in a whopping 915,103,765 different ways? And at least one of those bricks will be stepped on by a bare-footed adult! (Try it later when you have more time)

Both Shirl an I are looking forward to seeing you soon (pot luck Fri)

Warm regards Ron.
